When and how do I have to pay back?
You start (except for special promotions) one month after payment to repay the borrowed sum (except for any promotional promotions). You choose how you repay:
- by bank transfer,
- via a standing order that you submit to the financial institution that manages the account from which you want the amount due to be deducted each month.
How can I dispose of the money from my loan?
You choose the way in which your credit is made available:
- with a transfer to the account that you provide to us,
- with a guaranteed bank check.
Do I have to open a current account or another Nevabank product in order to receive a loan?
No, the granting of a credit is completely independent of this.
What should I do if I have difficulties repaying?
We recommend that you contact your Nevabank agency as soon as possible, who will try to find a customized solution together with you.
Can Nevabank refuse my credit application?
Every credit application is thoroughly investigated. Our job is to help you keep your budget balanced and to inform you about the dangers of excessive debt. During the examination of your credit application, Nevabank must consult the Central Office for Credits to Individuals at the NatBank. If your credit is declined, we undertake to inform you as soon as possible. For information about the possible registration of your data, you can, if you wish, contact the Central Individual Credit Register (Avenue de Berlaimont 14, 1000 Brussels). You will need a recto-verso copy of your identity card for this.
